The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially set the wheels in motion for one of the state’s most competitive entrance exams.

As of today, April 23, 2026, the TS EAMCET 2026 Admit Card for the Agriculture and Pharmacy (AP) stream is officially available for download. Candidates who have spent months preparing for a career in life sciences can now access their exam venue details and shift timings via the official portal, eapcet.tgche.ac.in.

While the AP stream candidates are already securing their entry passes, those appearing for the Engineering stream have a short wait ahead. To manage server traffic and ensure a smooth rollout, the hall tickets for Engineering aspirants are scheduled to be released on April 27, 2026.

How to Download Your TS EAMCET 2026 Hall Ticket

The download process is entirely digital, but it requires specific details from your original application form. Candidates are advised to keep their registration documents nearby to avoid login errors. Follow these steps to ensure a successful download:

  1. Visit the Official Portal: Navigate to eapcet.tgche.ac.in. Be wary of third-party mirror sites and ensure you are on the official government domain.

  2. Locate the Download Link: On the homepage, look for the “Download Hall Ticket (TG EAPCET-2026)” button.

  3. Authentication: You will be prompted to enter your Registration Number, your Qualifying Exam (10+2) Hall Ticket Number, and your Date of Birth in the DD/MM/YYYY format.

  4. Verification: Once the details are entered, your admit card will be generated. Check that your name is spelled correctly and your photograph is clearly visible.

  5. Secure a Copy: Download the PDF and take at least two color printouts. Having a backup copy is always a smart move in case one gets misplaced.

Important Dates and Exam Schedule

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, is acting as the conducting body this year on behalf of TGCHE. The 2026 session sees a record-breaking number of applicants, crossing the 3-lakh mark. The exam is conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across multiple centers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Stream Hall Ticket Release Date Exam Dates
Agriculture & Pharmacy (AP) April 23, 2026 May 4 & May 5, 2026
Engineering (E) April 27, 2026 May 9, 10 & 11, 2026

The exam will be held in two sessions daily: the Forenoon session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the Afternoon session from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Your specific session will be mentioned on your admit card.

Exam Day Guidelines: What to Carry

The exam centers follow strict security protocols. Failure to bring the correct documents can lead to disqualification. Remember, a digital copy on a smartphone will not be accepted by the invigilators.

  • The Physical Admit Card: A clear, printed copy of the hall ticket is mandatory.

  • Identification: Bring an original photo ID. The most preferred options are an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or a Driving License. Ensure the name on the ID matches the hall ticket.

  • The Application Form: Many students forget that they must also carry a printed copy of their Online Application Form with a recent passport-size photograph affixed and signed by the parent.

  • Reporting Protocol: Reach the venue at least 90 minutes before the start time. The gates will close precisely one minute before the exam begins, and latecomers are strictly prohibited from entering.

What if there is a mistake on the Hall Ticket?

In the rush of processing thousands of applications, technical glitches can occur. It is the candidate’s responsibility to verify every detail. Check for errors in your category (OC/BC/SC/ST), your date of birth, or even a blurred signature.

If you find an error, do not panic. Contact the TGCHE helpdesk immediately. You can reach them via their official helpline at +91-7416923578 or send a detailed email with your registration number to convener.eamcet@tsche.ac.in. Correcting these errors early ensures you don’t face hurdles on the actual exam day.
