MBSE HSLC Result 2026 Declared: Check Mizoram Board 10th Marks at mbseonline.com

The MBSE 10th Result 2026 was released on April 23 at 12 PM on mbseonline.com, with the board notably discontinuing the practice of announcing a merit list to reduce student stress. Students need their roll and registration numbers to download their marks, which require a minimum of 33% to pass

The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) has officially declared the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or Class 10 exam results for 2026 today, April 23.

Students who appeared for the board exams held in February and March can now access their digital scorecards. The results were made available online starting at 12:00 PM, bringing an end to the anticipation of thousands of students across the state.

The board has activated the direct link on its official portals, mbse.edu.in and mbseonline.com. This year’s announcement comes with a significant shift in policy, as the state government aims to foster a healthier academic environment.

How to Check MBSE HSLC Result 2026 Online?

To ensure a smooth experience for students, the board has provided multiple ways to check the scores. If you are looking for your results, follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the Website: Go to the official Mizoram Board website at mbse.edu.in or mbseonline.com.

  2. Find the Link: On the homepage, look for the “Results” tab or the notification titled “High School Leaving Certificate Exam Result 2026.”

  3. Enter Credentials: You will be prompted to enter your Roll Number and Registration Number as mentioned on your admit card.

  4. Submit and View: Click on the “Find Results” button. Your MBSE 10th Result 2026 will appear on the screen.

  5. Download: Save a digital copy and take a printout for your immediate records.

Checking Result via SMS

In case of slow internet connectivity or high website traffic, students can also use the SMS facility:

  • Type: MBSE10 <Roll Number>

  • Send it to: 5676750

No Merit List This Year

In a landmark move, the Mizoram School Education Minister, Vanlalthlana, previously announced that the MBSE will no longer publish a merit list or the names of the top-10 high-scoring students.

This decision is part of a broader effort to reduce “undue competition” and academic pressure on young students, focusing instead on overall quality-based learning. Consequently, there will be no official “Toppers List” released this year.

Performance and Passing Criteria

The MBSE HSLC exams 2026 were conducted between February 19 and March 16. To be declared “Pass,” a student must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subjectβ€”including theory and practical componentsβ€”as well as 33% in the total aggregate.

While the exact final pass percentage for 2026 is being compiled, early trends suggest a steady performance compared to last year’s pass percentage of 76.68%.

Support and Re-evaluation

For students who may have concerns about their marks, the board will open the window for re-evaluation and rechecking in the coming weeks. The application fee is typically β‚Ή500 per subject, and the results for these applications are expected to be released in June 2026.
