The Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali, is releasing the Law Entrance Test (LET) 2026 results today, July 13, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the computer-based entrance examination can check their scores online. The online national-level entrance test was successfully conducted on July 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at various designated centers across India. The exam is the gateway for students seeking admission into the prestigious 5-year integrated law programs—BA LLB and BCom LLB—as well as postgraduate law courses (LLM) at the institute for the academic session 2026–27.

Candidates who take the test must score at least the minimum passing requirement of 25% to qualify for the next rounds of the admission process. The final results and scorecards have been prepared based on the evaluated responses after compiling the final answer keys.

Once you download your rank card, it is essential to check it thoroughly. In case of any spelling mistakes or calculation errors, reach out to the AIL Mohali administration immediately. Make sure the following details are printed clearly:

• Candidate’s Name (as registered during the application process)

• Exam Roll Number and Application Number

• Section-wise Marks Secured (Mental Ability, GK & Current Affairs, Law Aptitude, and General English)

• Total Combined Score (Out of 200 marks)

• All-India Rank / Category Rank

Note on the Tie-Breaking Rule: If two or more candidates get the exact same total score, the candidate with higher marks in their 10+2 qualifying board examination will be ranked higher. If the tie still stands, the older candidate will be given priority in the merit list.

What Happens After the Results?

Securing a qualifying score is just the first step. Following the result announcement, the institute will open up an option window where candidates can lock their preferred choice between the BA LLB and BCom LLB streams.

A final course-wise merit list will then be prepared for different categories, including the Army Category and the All India Civil Category. Online counselling sessions are scheduled to begin in the second week of July 2026. Shortlisted candidates will receive their counselling details and links over their registered email IDs. Physical document verification and final reporting at the Mohali campus will take place in the final week of July 2026.
