How to Apply for BHU UG Admission 2026?

The application process for Banaras Hindu University’s Undergraduate Admissions 2026 is managed entirely online through the Samarth eGov platform. Prospective students must ensure they have all necessary documents and information ready before beginning the application.

BHU UG Admission 2026: Counseling Fees

Candidates must pay a non-refundable counselling registration fee while submitting the BHU UG admission form through the Samarth portal.

Seat Allotment Process After BHU Counseling Registration

After the registration process ends, BHU will prepare the merit list based on CUET-UG 2026 scores, programme preferences, eligibility, reservation rules, and seat availability. Seat allotment results will be released in multiple rounds on the Samarth portal.

Candidates allotted a seat must:

  • Check the allotment result on the BHU Samarth portal.
  • Accept the allotted seat within the given deadline.
  • Pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.

Options Available After Seat Allotment

After each round of seat allotment, candidates will have the following options:

  • Upgrade: Accept the allotted seat while remaining eligible for a higher-preference programme in subsequent counselling rounds, subject to seat availability.
