CA Foundation January 2027 mock test series 1, 2 dates announced: Check full schedule

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Board of Studies (Academic) has announced the dates for the CA Foundation January 2027 mock test series 1 and 2. This initiative aims to assist students in their preparation for the upcoming January 2027 examinations.

The mock tests will be conducted in two series throughout December 2026, offering both physical and virtual participation options for candidates. The official announcement regarding these mock tests was made on October 21, 2026.

Ca Foundation Mock Test Schedule and Participation

The ICAI Board of Studies (Academic) will conduct the mock tests in two distinct series. Series 1 is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2026, and conclude on December 9, 2026. Following this, Series 2 will commence on December 14, 2026, and run until December 21, 2026. Each mock test will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Students have the option to take these mock tests in either physical or virtual modes. For those preferring physical tests, guidance can be obtained by contacting their respective ICAI branches. Question papers for each subject will be uploaded to the Board of Studies (BoS) Knowledge Portal and the BoS Mentoring and Training Portal (MTP) registration portal by 1:30 pm on the respective test dates. Students are advised to download these papers and attempt them within the stipulated time limit. Answer keys will be uploaded within 48 hours of the completion of each paper, allowing students to check their responses, identify mistakes, and assess their preparation.

January 2027 Examination Dates for Ca Foundation and Intermediate

The CA Foundation January 2027 examinations are scheduled to take place on January 3, 5, 7, and 9, 2027. These mock tests are designed to align with the format and timing of the actual examinations, providing a realistic practice environment for candidates. The ICAI also released the examination schedule for CA Intermediate Group 1 and Group 2 examinations.

The CA Intermediate Group 1 examinations will be held on January 2, 4, and 6, 2027. Later, the CA Intermediate Group 2 examinations are scheduled for January 8, 10, and 12, 2027. The timing for CA Foundation Papers 1 and 2 will be from 2 PM to 5 PM, with a duration of 3 hours, while Papers 3 and 4 will be held from 2 PM to 4 PM, with a duration of 2 hours.
