The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, also known as the Commissionerate of Medical Education, released the revised provisional allotment list for the NEET UG 2026 counselling Round 3 (Mop-Up Round) on October 10, 2026. This list pertains to MBBS and BDS seats in government and private medical and dental colleges across Chhattisgarh.

This mop-up round represents the final phase of seat allocation within Chhattisgarh’s NEET UG 2026 counselling process, designed to fill any remaining vacant seats after the completion of Rounds 1 and 2. The allotment is provisional and contingent on the successful verification of documents and eligibility criteria.
Details of the Revised Provisional Allotment
The revised provisional allotment list, titled ‘CG State NEET-UG (MBBS & BDS)-2026 Revised Provisional Allotment List Round-3 (Mop-Up Round) Dated: 10-10-2026’, was published by the Commissionerate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh. Candidates whose names appear on this list have been provisionally allotted a seat. The list is available as a PDF document on the official DME website.
Candidates are required to download the PDF, locate their NEET roll number or name, and note the allotted college, course, and category. The revision in the list is attributed to corrections, updates, the removal of candidates who did not join in previous rounds, or the filling of newly available vacancies. An updated final seat matrix was originally scheduled for publication on February 7, 2026, while the initial provisional Round 3 document was dated September 30, 2026.
Reporting and Joining Formalities
All candidates who have been allotted a seat must report to their designated college and complete the necessary joining formalities within the deadline specified by the DME. Non-compliance with this deadline will result in the automatic cancellation of the allotted seat. For candidates whose category or quota has been changed within the same institution and subject, they must obtain an online generated relieving letter and after that secure admission on the changed seat by acquiring a fresh online generated admission letter for the new category or quota.
The mop-up round is specifically designed to address vacancies that arise from candidates not joining after initial allotments or from seats previously reserved that are now being released. After the completion of Round 3, the chief counselling process concludes. Any remaining unfilled seats may next be offered through mechanisms such as spot counselling.
