The QR code printed on the CBSE Class 12 Maths paper stirred up a debate online after it opened up to the song ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ by Rick Astley. It all started when a Class 12th girl uploaded the video on Instagram, which went viral, showing how the QR code present on the maths paper was playing up to this song. However, the QR codes are present on the board papers for verification purposes, along with providing exam-related information.
In a now viral video, the student films herself scanning the qr code in her room, which has gathered hilarious reactions on social media. In the video, she says, “ I want to show you guys something, and I discovered it just now. This is my maths question paper. I am scanning it now. And see what it leads to.” After this, many started scanning the QR code on the maths paper, which fuelled a laughing storm across social media.
