JAC 10th, 12th Board Exam 2027 application opens November 12: apply by December 4 with late fee

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) today, November 5, 2026, announced the application schedule for the Jharkhand Board Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) Examination 2027. This announcement, made available on the official website jac.jharkhand.gov.in, initiates the process for students aiming to appear in the upcoming board examinations.

Students will be able to commence the examination form submission process from November 12, 2026. The council has released separate examination forms for Secondary (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) candidates, catering to regular, private candidates, and ex-students.

JAC Board Exam 2027 Application Process and Deadlines

The application window for the JAC Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2027 will open on November 12, 2026. Candidates are required to coordinate with their respective schools and colleges for the submission process. The initial deadline for completing the application without incurring a late fee is November 26, 2026.

For those who miss the initial submission period, an application window with a late fee will be available from November 27 to December 4, 2026. The application forms and related student information sheets can be accessed via the official JAC website. Students must ensure that information in the examination form, particularly for Class 10 candidates, matches details in their Class 9 marksheet. The photograph pasted on the student information sheet should not be more than three months old.

Verification and Modification of Application Details

Candidates are advised to verify their registration details with their respective schools or colleges before final submission. This matters a lot for students to obtain a printed copy of their checklist from their school or college and meticulously examine all information for accuracy. Any discrepancies should be addressed promptly.

The Jharkhand Academic Council has stated that changes to submitted details are not permitted through the regular form process. If modifications are required after submission, candidates must directly contact the council for assistance. Expected Schedule and Examination Pattern for Class 12

While the detailed examination timetable for JAC Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2027 has not yet been announced, the JAC Class 12 time table for 2027 is expected to be released in November or December 2026. Practical examinations for the JAC Intermediate Examination 2027 are anticipated in February 2027, followed by theory exams in the same month. The expected theory exam timing for Class 12 is from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

The JAC Class 12 Admit Card 2027 is expected to be issued before the commencement of the Intermediate board examinations. Results for the JAC Class 12 Examination 2027 are projected to be announced in May or June 2027. The examination will be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper mode. Generally, students are required to secure at least 33% marks to pass a subject in the JAC Intermediate examinations.
