AP AYUSH UG 2026 Phase 3 option entry ends today, November 5

The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (DRNTRUHS) has opened the Phase 3 web option entry for AP AYUSH UG Counselling 2026, with the deadline set for today, November 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM. This phase allows eligible candidates to select their preferred colleges and courses for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) seats across Andhra Pradesh AYUSH colleges.

The web option entry commenced on November 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM, accessible through the official portals drntr.uhsap.in and apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in. This phase is crucial as it represents the final opportunity for candidates to upgrade their options, with no further upgradation permitted after Phase 3 of counselling. A Stray Vacancy Round will follow Phase 3 for any remaining seats.

Phase 3 Option Entry and Eligibility

Candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 and registered for AP AYUSH counselling are eligible to participate in Phase 3. This includes candidates who may have missed earlier phases. Those who secured seats in Phase 1 and Phase 2 are also permitted to slide for better options during this period. However, candidates allotted a seat in Phase 3, along with Convenor Quota (CQ) seat holders from earlier phases, will be barred from participating in the subsequent Stray Vacancy Round.

To exercise web options, candidates must visit drntr.uhsap.in. It is mandatory to save and lock the selected options before the specified deadline. Candidates are advised to download and print a copy of their saved choices for future reference. The official notification for exercising web options was issued on November 3, 2026.

Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling Overview

Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counselling 2026 is conducted by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences (Dr. YSRUHS) for Competent Authority Quota (CQ) seats. The online registration and certificate uploading for CQ admissions were active on drysr.uhsap.in, concluding on September 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The registration fee for OC/BC candidates was ₹2,950, inclusive of 18% GST, while SC/ST candidates paid ₹2,360, also inclusive of 18% GST.

Eligibility criteria for candidates included securing at least the minimum qualifying cutoff percentile in NEET UG 2026: 50th for General/EWS, 40th for BC/SC/ST, and 45th for General-PwD. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026. For Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) courses, candidates were required to have passed 10th or 12th grade with Urdu, Arabic, or Persian as a language subject, or to have passed a pre-Tib examination.

Seat Reservation and Next Steps

In Andhra Pradesh, 85% of Competent Authority Quota seats are reserved for local candidates. The Andhra University (AU) Area encompasses districts such as Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, and Guntur. The Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) Area includes districts like Chittoor, Tirupati, Kadapa, Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai, Kurnool, Nandyal, and Nellore. The remaining 15% of seats are designated as Non-Local (Unreserved) and are open to both local and non-local candidates.

Following the conclusion of Phase 3 web option entry, candidates are advised to monitor drntr.uhsap.in for the Phase 3 seat allotment results and subsequent reporting dates. The schedule for the Stray Vacancy Round, which will address any leftover seats after Phase 3, is expected to be released shortly thereafter.
