FTII JET 2026 final result out: pay seat acceptance fee by 19 November

The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) today, November 5, 2026, announced the final results for the FTII JET 2026. Candidates who participated in the second stage of the Joint Entrance Test (JET) can now access the final merit list on the official FTII website, ftii.ac.in/notifications, and shiksha.com/news.

The FTII JET is a joint entrance examination conducted by the Film and Television Institute of India and the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute for admission to postgraduate and certificate-level film and television courses. The final result includes the combined scores from both stages of the evaluation process, and selected candidates are required to complete the seat acceptance process by a specified deadline.

Seat Acceptance Fee and Deadline

Selected candidates are required to pay a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) to confirm their admission to the offered courses. The deadline for this payment is November 19, 2026. The payment must be made through an online payment system, specifically the SB-Collect Portal/Link, which is accessible via onlinesbi.sbi.bank.in/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm? for both General/Other and ST categories.

Based on what an official notice, failure to pay the seat acceptance fee by the stipulated deadline will result in the candidate losing their claim on the offered seat. Such candidates will also not be eligible for further rounds of seat allocation for that particular course, and the seat will next be offered to the next eligible candidate as per the rules.

How to Access the Final Merit List

Candidates can download the final merit list by visiting the official FTII website, ftii.ac.in/notifications. Upon navigating to the notifications section, they should click on the link titled ‘Final Result of FTII Entrance Test – 2025-26’. The merit list provides details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, category, and the final score, which is a combination of scores from Stage 1 and Stage 2.

FTII JET Evaluation Process

The FTII JET exam 2026 uses a two-stage evaluation process for admission to postgraduate and certificate-level film and television courses. Only candidates who successfully clear the cut-off marks established for Stage 1 are then shortlisted to proceed to the subsequent stage.
