DTU Launches Data Science & Applied Statistics Integrated BSc-MSc Programmes, Registrations Close on July 30

Delhi Technological University (DTU) has officially expanded its science and technology portfolio. In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, DTU has launched two highly anticipated 5-year Integrated BSc-MSc programmes starting from the 2026–27 academic session: Data Science and Applied Statistics. Both courses are capped at intake levels of 30 students. Eligible candidates can apply for these courses by visiting DTU’s official website and paying an application fee of Rs. 1,500. The last date to apply for this session is 30th July 2026. 

Admissions to these courses are carried out on the basis of CUET (UG) scores. Presently, DTU offers five other integrated courses apart from the new additions – Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology and Economics.

Who Can Apply for the New Programmes?

To be eligible for admission to the Integrated BSc-MSc programmes at DTU, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Class XII (10+2) examination or its equivalent from a single recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: Applicants need a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Class XII. A relaxation is provided for reserved categories: 45% marks for SC and ST candidates.
  • Subject Prerequisite: Candidates must have studied and passed Mathematics or Applied Mathematics in Class XII.
  • Entrance Exam: Applicants must have appeared for the CUET (UG) 2026 conducted by the NTA.

Admission Process for DTU Integrated BSc-MSc Programmes 

Admissions to all integrated undergraduate programmes at DTU are merit-based and tied directly to the national-level entrance system:

  • CUET (UG) Merit: There is no separate entrance test conducted by DTU. Admissions are purely based on the merit list prepared using the CUET (UG) 2026 rank among registered students.
  • Seat Allocation: Seats are allocated based on the candidate’s rank in the merit list, category rules, and program preferences submitted during registration.
  • Document Verification: Selected candidates must report in person to the DTU campus with their original academic documents, category certificates (if applicable), and a Bank Draft for fee payment.

  1. Visit the DTU admission portal at dtu.ac.in.
  2. Register using your name, email ID, mobile number, and CUET (UG) application number.
  3. Fill in the application form with your personal, academic, and CUET (UG) details.
  4. Upload your Class X and XII mark sheets, CUET scorecard, photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).
  5. Pay the Rs 1,500 application fee online and submit the form.
  6. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
