Chirawa College, located in Chirawa, Rajasthan, has announced the opening of admissions for its undergraduate programs, including the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Hindi, for the 2026-27 academic year. The institution, founded in 1958, provides foundational higher education programs affiliated with Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar.

The admission process for the full-time three-year BA Hindi Honours degree is entirely merit-based, relying on marks obtained in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination. No entrance examinations are required for admission to Chirawa College, which functions as a traditional affiliated degree college.
Eligibility and Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission to the BA Hindi Honours program must have passed a Senior Secondary School Examination with a minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by the Directorate of College Education, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Admission is granted based on the merit of the qualifying examination (10+2 for undergraduate courses).
Applicants are required to apply on a prescribed form and may be called for an interview with the Principal, co-ordinator, or admission committee. Acceptance and registration of the application form do not guarantee admission, which is granted strictly on a merit basis. The academic year typically commences in July or August, aligning with the university’s academic calendar.
Required Documents and Fees
At the time of registration, all new entrants must deposit registration fees along with their application form. Annual fees are also required to be paid on or before scheduled dates to ensure admission. All fees, besides caution money, are non-refundable.
Candidates must submit attested copies of their mark-sheet of the qualifying examination (in original) along with two xerox copies. Other essential documents include a Transfer Certificate and a Character Certificate from the institute last attended (both in original), three self-addressed stamped envelopes, and two latest passport-size photographs. Those claiming reservation benefits must provide an SC/ST/OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. Original copies of all documents, including Migration Certificate, must be submitted at the time of admission.

Candidates are deemed ineligible for admission under specific conditions. These include individuals against whom an FIR has been lodged, those reported for unfair means in previous examinations, persons convicted of a criminal offense involving moral turpitude, and candidates declared failed by the University in their last examination. These criteria are in place to uphold academic integrity and maintain a disciplined learning environment, as stated by Chirawa College.
