Haryana NEET UG 2026 Round 3 counselling schedule released: last date to join October 1

The Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Haryana, has released the Round 3 counselling schedule for Haryana NEET UG 2026. The University of Health Sciences Rohtak (UHSR) issued the schedule on September 24, 2026, for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in government, private, and deemed medical colleges across Haryana.

The counselling process, conducted online via the DMER official website, allows qualified NEET UG 2026 candidates to register, fill choices, and check seat allotment results. This follows the completion of Round 1 and Round 2, with Round 3 activities scheduled to wrap up by September 26, 2026.

Haryana NEET UG 2026 Counselling Schedule and Deadlines

The Directorate of Medical Education & Research conducts the Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026, which includes multiple rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. The NEET UG Exam 2026 was held on June 21, 2026, with results released on July 16, 2026. The Information Bulletin was next released on August 1, 2026.

Round 1 registration and choice filling took place from August 28 to August 31, 2026, with provisional seat allocation on September 2, 2026. The last date for joining an allotted institute in Round 1 was September 9, 2026. Round 2 choice submission and locking occurred from September 10 to September 12, 2026, with provisional seat allocation on September 14, 2026. The deadline for joining for Round 2 was September 20, 2026. Round 3 counselling is scheduled from September 16 to September 26, 2026, with the last date for joining set for October 1, 2026. A Stray Vacancy Round will follow from October 3 to October 5, 2026, with a joining deadline of October 10, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria and Registration Fees

To participate in the Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026, candidates must have qualified the NEET UG 2026 exam and meet specific eligibility criteria. Applicants must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. General category candidates are required to have a minimum of 50% marks in PCB, while SC, ST, and OBC candidates need 40%, and PwD candidates require 45%.

Candidates must be at least 17 years old. Additionally, applicants should be residents of Haryana or fulfill state-specific domicile criteria for state quota seats. The registration fee for General category candidates is ₹2,500, while for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories, it is ₹1,250. NRI candidates are required to pay a registration fee of ₹10,000.

The Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026 is an entirely online process conducted through the official website, dmer.haryana.gov.in. Eligible students who have qualified the NEET UG 2026 exam must complete a new registration using their NEET roll number and other required credentials. This involves filling out personal, academic, and contact details, uploading necessary documents in the specified format, and paying the application fee through available payment modes.

Seat allotment is based on the NEET rank of the candidate, their category, and the preferences filled during the choice submission process.
