NMAT 2026: Register by October 10 to take exam Nov 5-Dec 19

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is set to conduct the NMAT 2026 examination in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from November 5, 2026, to December 19, 2026. The exam will be administered by Pearson VUE on behalf of GMAC across a wide network of test centres.

The NMAT 2026 will be held in 54 to 79 cities across India and four international locations, aiming to support candidates for this national-level MBA entrance exam. The registration process for NMAT 2026 commenced on August 1, 2026, and concluded on October 10, 2026.

NMAT 2026 Exam Centres and Scheduling

Candidates were able to choose their preferred NMAT exam cities during the slot booking process, which became available after the registration fee payment. The NMAT exam scheduling and test centre preference marking could be done through the candidate’s NMAT login account on mba.com.

While mba.com indicates NMAT by GMAC is administered in 54 cities across the country, toprankers.com reports 79 test centres in India for the NMAT exam 2026. For reference, NMAT 2025 was scheduled to be held in 73 cities in India and 4 international cities, according to mbagate.in. The exact location of exam centres within each city may vary and will be communicated on the admit cards. Candidates can change their NMAT exam centre after registration for an additional fee.

Facilities and Guidelines for Test-Takers

GMAC will provide special assistance and accommodation facilities for physically challenged candidates at the NMAT exam centres 2026. Test-takers requiring special arrangements, such as those with learning disabilities, mobility impairment, blindness (low vision or no vision), cerebral palsy, and leprosy, can request these facilities.

Special arrangements for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates include extra time, a reader, system allotment with large fonts on the screen, a scribe for visually handicapped candidates, and mobility assistance. PwD candidates are required to arrange for their own scribe initially; however, if they are unable to do so, GMAC will provide a scribe facility.

Examination Day Protocols

Candidates must arrive at their assigned test centre 45 minutes before the scheduled exam time. A test-taker identification process, including a digital photograph and signature collection, will be conducted prior to the exam. All tests will be administered under video surveillance.

Latecomers, defined as those arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, may not be permitted to take the test and will forfeit their test fee. Candidates must carry their NMAT 2026 admit card and an original ID card (Passport, Voter ID, Aadhaar card, PAN card, or Driving license) for verification purposes.
