The SilverZone Foundation, in association with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), has announced that registrations for the ICSI – SilverZone Commerce Olympiad 2026–27 are now open. This strategic assessment test is designed to enhance academic standards and foster a passion for commerce among students.

The Olympiad targets students in grades 11 and 12 from the commerce stream, offering a platform to test their knowledge in subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Company Secretaryship. The initiative aims to recognise and reward academic excellence in the field of commerce.

Eligibility and Exam Structure

The ICSI – SilverZone Commerce Olympiad is open to students currently enrolled in Class 11 and Class 12, specifically those pursuing the commerce stream. The examination format consists of a single written test, which is entirely based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

The curriculum for the Olympiad includes core commerce subjects, including Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics. Also, it incorporates elements of the Company Secretaryship (ICSI) course, providing a detailed assessment for participating students. Awards and Recognition for Top Performers

The Olympiad offers substantial awards and recognition for high-achieving students. For each class, 11th and 12th, the top three rank holders will be awarded cash prizes, international medals, and certificates of outstanding performance. In cases where multiple students achieve the same international rank, the cash award will be distributed equally among them, provided there are up to 10 such students. If 11 or more students share the same international rank, each will receive a Medal of Excellence and a Special Achievement Certificate instead of a shared cash award.

On top of international accolades, schools will also recognise their toppers. Class toppers achieving Rank 1 will receive a School ‘Gold Medal of Excellence’, Rank 2 toppers will be awarded a School ‘Silver Medal of Excellence’, and Rank 3 toppers will receive a School ‘Bronze Medal of Excellence’. Each winner is entitled to one award per exam, receiving the higher-level award only.

School Registration and Participation

Schools interested in becoming registered centres for the ICSI – SilverZone Commerce Olympiad can do so without incurring any registration fee. Prospectuses containing registration forms are automatically dispatched to all schools already registered with the SilverZone Foundation. Schools not yet registered can request a prospectus by writing to info@silverzone.org.

To ensure smooth coordination and feasibility of the examination, a minimum of 40 students per school is required for registration. Schools must return the completed registration forms by the specified deadline. The SilverZone Foundation has been conducting Olympiad programs since 2004, with the results for the SilverZone Olympiads 2025-26 Level 2 and all subjects for 2025 already declared.
