JEECUP Counselling 2026: Seat Acceptance and Fee Payment Process

1. Choosing Freeze or Float Options:

   • Freeze: Select this if you are satisfied with the seat allotted in Round 4 and do not wish to participate in subsequent rounds.

   • Float: Select this if you accept the seat provisionally but wish to upgrade to a higher-preference choice in Round 5.

2. Fee Payment:

   • Seat Acceptance Fee: Candidates selecting either Freeze or Float must pay the Rs. 3,000 seat acceptance and counselling fee online within the stipulated timeline (July 31 to August 4, 2026).

   • Balance Course Fee: Candidates who select Freeze must submit the balance institute fee online through the JEECUP candidate portal prior to physical reporting at the designated college.

The JEECUP Round 4 seat allotment results will be published on July 30, 2026. The allotment is determined by several key factors:

• Uttar Pradesh Domicile Candidates: UP-state candidates who were either not allotted a seat in Rounds 1 to 3, opted for ‘Float’ in Round 3, or missed registering in earlier rounds are eligible to participate.

• Other State Candidates: Candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh who qualified for JEECUP 2026 can officially participate in choice filling and seat allotment starting from Round 4.
