JKBOSE Class 10th, 11th, 12th admit cards for winter zone soon: exams begin October 19

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is anticipated to release the admit cards for the Class 10th, 11th, and 12th Annual Regular October-November examinations for students in the Kashmir Division, winter-zone areas of Jammu Division, and the Union Territory of Ladakh. These admit cards are expected to be made available before the examinations commence in October 2026.

The release of these admit cards is a critical step for students preparing for the upcoming board examinations, as they are mandatory for entry into the examination centers. The admit cards will contain essential details such as the student’s name, roll number, examination center, and specific examination dates.

Examination Schedule and Timing

JKBOSE has already notified the date sheets for the Class 10th, 11th, and 12th examinations. The Class 10th exams are scheduled to begin on October 19, 2026, and conclude on November 18, 2026. For Class 12th students, examinations will commence on October 21, 2026, and end on November 21, 2026. Class 11th exams are slated to start on October 29, 2026, and conclude on November 30, 2026.

All examinations for Class 10th, 11th, and 12th will uniformly begin at 11:00 AM. The first paper for Class 10th is Mathematics, while for Class 12th, it is Mathematics/Applied Mathematics. Examination centers will be specified on the respective admit cards.

Admit Card Download and Verification

School authorities are responsible for downloading the admit cards for their students. They must log in to the official JKBOSE portal, jkbose.jk.gov.in, using their unique School ID and Password. Students are required to collect the physical copy of their admit card from their respective schools.

The collected admit card must be signed and stamped by the school principal to be considered valid for the examinations. Students should thoroughly verify all details printed on the admit card, including their name, roll number, registration/enrolment details, class, examination session, subjects, examination center, center code, examination dates, examination instructions, and photograph/signature. Any discrepancies found should be immediately reported to their school/institution or the JKBOSE authority.

Examination Day Guidelines

On examination days, students must carry their admit card for identification and verification purposes. Entry into the examination premises will not be permitted without a valid admit card. Students are advised to reach the examination center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of 11:00 AM.

Strict prohibitions are in place regarding electronic gadgets; mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or any other electronic devices are not allowed inside the exam hall. Students are expected to bring their own pens, pencils, and geometry box. Requests for changes to the examination center, as mentioned on the admit card, are generally not entertained, as per JKBOSE guidelines.
