Jamia Millia Islamia’s (JMI) Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) officially opened applications for its 49 distance and online courses for the academic session 2026-27 on 24 July 2026. The last date to register for JMI CDOE admissions is 10th August 2026.  Students can visit JMI’s admission portal for registration at admission.jmi.ac.in. Aspiring candidates can now prepare to apply for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered through the university’s distance and online learning modes. Admissions into JMI CDOE courses are offered on merit-basis, with qualified candidates intimated via mail.

JMI CDOE 2026-27 Registration Fees

Candidates applying for JMI Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) programmes for the 2026-27 academic session must pay the prescribed application/registration fee while submitting the online application form. The fee varies for regular distance/online programmes and entrance-based programmes.

Candidates can apply for JMI Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) distance and online programmes by registering on the official admission portal, filling out the application form, uploading required documents, and paying the registration fee.

  1. Visit the official JMI CDOE admission portal at admission.jmi.ac.in.
  2. Click on online admission portal link for CDOE 2026-27.
  3. Complete the New User Registration process by entering the required details.
  4. Verify the account using the activation code sent to the registered mobile number or email ID.
  5. Log in to the admission portal using the registered credentials.
  6. Select the desired distance or online programme and fill out the application form.
  7. Upload the required documents and submit the application details.
  8. Pay the application fee through the available online payment mode.
  9. Download and save the submitted application form and fee receipt for future reference.

Selection Process for JMI CDOE Admissions 2026

The JMI Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) follows a merit-based admission process for most distance and online programmes, while candidates applying for specific courses such as MBA (ODL) and B.Ed. must appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university.

UG Programmes Admission will be granted based on merit in the qualifying examination.
PG Programmes Selection will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying degree examination.
Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Certificate Programmes Admission will be based on merit as per eligibility criteria.
MBA (Open and Distance Learning) Candidates must appear for the entrance examination conducted by JMI.
B.Ed. (Distance Mode) Admission will be through the JMI entrance examination process.

After selection: Shortlisted candidates will receive admission confirmation through their registered email ID and will have to complete document verification and fee submission within the notified schedule.
