MAH BSc Nursing CAP 2026 Institutional Round 2 schedule out: apply by November 10

The State CET Cell Maharashtra today released the schedule for the MAH BSc Nursing CAP 2026 Institutional Round 2 through Notice No 05, dated November 3, 2026. This round is intended to fill seats that remained vacant after the completion of the three Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds for the 2026-27 academic year.

The schedule outlines activities from November 7 to November 15, 2026, providing a final opportunity for eligible candidates to secure a BSc Nursing seat. Admissions will be conducted through a direct institute-level process, requiring online registration followed by physical reporting at colleges with vacant seats.

Institutional Round 2: Key Dates and Application Process

The Institutional Round 2 schedule commences with the publication of the seat matrix and eligible candidates list on November 7, 2026. Candidates are required to apply to their respective colleges between November 8 and November 10, 2026, until 5:30 PM. The State CET Cell will admit candidates based on inter-se merit at the college level.

Candidates must register online at the official admission portal, medical2026.mahacet.org, using their MH BSc Nursing CET 2026 credentials. Only online payment of the registration fee is accepted at this stage. After online registration, candidates must physically visit colleges holding vacant seats, presenting original documents for verification.

Eligibility and Final Opportunity for Admission

This Institutional Round 2 is open to candidates with a valid MH BSc Nursing CET 2026 score. Those who did not participate in the earlier CAP rounds are also eligible to apply. However, candidates who have already been allotted a seat in previous rounds must cancel their admission before registering for this round.

The State CET Cell Maharashtra has confirmed that this Institutional Round is the final opportunity to secure a BSc Nursing seat for the 2026-27 academic year. No further rounds will be conducted after this one. The admission cut-off date for this round is November 15, 2026.

Background of CAP Rounds and Previous Allotments

The Institutional Round 2 addresses seats that remained vacant after the conclusion of the Centralised Admission Process. The MH BSc Nursing CAP Round 2 Allotment 2026 was released on September 24, 2026. Following this, physical joining for CAP Round 2 was permitted from September 25 to September 29, 2026, until 5:30 PM.

The Round 2 seat matrix was published on September 21, 2026, with online choice and preference filling for CAP Round 2 conducted from September 21 to 23, 2026. The State CET Cell Maharashtra had previously published the provisional selection list for CAP Round 2 online at medical2026.mahacet.org.
