MH BSc Nursing CAP Round 3 result out: report to college by 27 October

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, today announced the selection list for MH BSc Nursing CAP Round 3 for the academic year 2026-27. Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round are required to complete their physical joining and submit the status retention form with all original documents and requisite fees by 27 October 2026, 05:30 pm.

This round of admissions follows a relaxation in the qualifying percentile criteria for B.Sc. Nursing admissions for the 2026-27 academic year, as communicated by the Indian Nursing Council in a letter dated 16 October 2026. The revised criteria allowed for a new registration window for previously ineligible candidates.

Revised Eligibility Criteria and Registration

The Indian Nursing Council’s decision to relax the qualifying percentile criteria for B.Sc. Nursing admission for the academic year 2026–27 led to a new registration phase. The revised qualifying percentile for the General category is now the 40th percentile, while for the General PwD category, it is the 35th percentile. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC & PwD categories require a 30th percentile.

Online registration for newly eligible candidates, who had not previously registered, was conducted from 17 October 2026 to 19 October 2026. The payment of registration fees and the uploading of scanned copies of original documents also took place during this period. The combined registered candidate list and merit list were published on 20 October 2026.

CAP Round 3 and Subsequent Reporting

Following the publication of the combined merit list, the seat matrix for CAP Round 3 was displayed on 20 October 2026. Eligible candidates then proceeded with the online preference/choice form filling process from 20 October 2026 to 22 October 2026. The selection list for CAP Round 3 was declared today, 23 October 2026.

Candidates who have secured a seat in CAP Round 3 must physically report to their allotted colleges between 24 October 2026 and 27 October 2026, by 05:30 pm. During this period, they are required to submit all original documents and pay the requisite fees. The last date for cancelling admission confirmed in CAP Round 3 is also 27 October 2026, by 05:30 pm. Candidates who opted for Status Retention can fill choices for newly permitted colleges and other colleges, but their status retention will be cancelled if choices are filled.

Institutional Level Round and Final Admissions

For candidates who do not secure a seat in CAP Round 3 or wish to explore further options, an Institutional Level Round has been scheduled. The seat matrix for this round and a provisional list of eligible candidates will be published on 27 October 2026. Candidates holding a seat as of 27 October 2026, 05:30 pm, will not be eligible for the Institutional Level Round.

Eligible and desirous candidates must apply in person or through a representative to their respective colleges from 28 October 2026 to 29 October 2026, by 05:30 pm. Colleges will then publish their General Merit List, Quota Wise Merit list, Selection List-1, and Wait List on their notice boards and websites by 06:30 pm on 29 October 2026. Physical joining for candidates from Selection List-1 is scheduled for 30 October 2026, by 05:30 pm. Any residual vacancies will be published by 06:30 pm on 30 October 2026, with reporting for these vacancies on 31 October 2026. The cut-off date for B.Sc. Nursing admissions for the academic year 2026-27, as per the Indian Nursing Council, is 31 October 2026.
