The Uttar Pradesh Madhymik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has issued a final notice to 940 schools across Uttar Pradesh, mandating the completion of pending student registration for the 2026-27 academic session by October 26, 2026. This directive, issued on October 23, 2026, provides a last opportunity for schools that failed to generate the required student lists by the previously revised deadline of October 22, 2026.

The registration process includes advance registration for students in Classes 9 and 11, as well as examination applications for students in Classes 10 and 12. Schools are required to generate and download these student lists from the UPMSP portal, attach a copy of the necessary challan, and submit all documents to the office of the District School Inspector.

Final Deadline for Student Registration

The UPMSP’s latest notice underscores the urgency for the 940 schools that had not completed the student registration process by October 22, 2026. The board had initially set October 15, 2026, as the deadline for registration, which was subsequently extended to October 22, 2026. An earlier extension on October 16, 2026, had provided 5,905 schools with additional time to submit student lists.

According to the notice, principals of schools that do not adhere to the October 26, 2026, deadline will be held accountable. The registration fee for Class 9 and 11 students is ₹50 per student, with ₹40 deposited in the State Treasury and ₹10 retained by the school for administrative purposes.
