The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has opened the correction window for students scheduled to appear for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations in 2027. This facility allows schools to rectify errors in students’ academic records, with an online correction deadline of November 12, 2026, and an offline submission deadline of November 16, 2026.

A notification regarding the correction window was issued by the UP Board Secretary on November 2, 2026. This initiative aims to ensure accuracy in student data for the upcoming examinations, with the board clarifying that no further opportunities for corrections will be provided after the respective deadlines.

Online Correction Process and Details

Schools are able to make changes to students’ academic details through the official UPMSP website, upmsp.edu.in. School principals must log in to the Board’s official portal to complete these corrections. The online facility will remain accessible until November 12, 2026.

The types of errors that can be corrected online include subject and class details, names of students and their parents, gender, caste, examination medium, photographs, and incorrect High School roll numbers that may have been entered during Class 11 registration.

Offline Correction Submissions and Deadlines

For certain specific corrections, an offline submission process is required. These include changes to students’ dates of birth, corrections to the full names of students or their parents, and the deletion or restoration of student records. School principals are required to send these offline requests, along with supporting documents, to the office of the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) by November 16, 2026.

The UP Board has emphasized that adherence to these deadlines is crucial, as no extensions will be granted. Students are advised to contact their respective schools to verify their academic details and ensure that any necessary corrections are completed within the prescribed timeframe.

To assist schools and students with the correction process, helpline numbers have been provided for various regional offices and the UPMSP Headquarters. These numbers can be used for queries and support during the correction period.
