What to Do After Round 3 Seat Allotment?
Candidates logging into their JoSAA dashboard must select one of the following three options based on their satisfaction with the current allocation:

Freeze: Select this option if you are completely satisfied with your current allotment and do not wish to participate in further counselling rounds.

Float: Choose this option if you want to accept the currently allotted seat but wish to remain eligible for a better program at any institute in the upcoming rounds.

Slide: Use this option if you want to accept the current seat but are open to a higher-preferred course within the same institute in the next rounds.
The Round 4 seat allotment list is scheduled to be released on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
