UPES Dehradun: Apply for UG, PG, Integrated admissions for AY 2027-28 now

UPES Dehradun has announced the opening of admissions for its diverse range of Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Integrated programmes for the academic year 2027-28. The admission window is now active for prospective students across various disciplines, including engineering, management, and sciences.

The current admission cycle includes specific programmes such as BBA and Integrated BBA-MBA for the upcoming academic year. Candidates interested in these programmes are advised to review the eligibility criteria and application procedures available on the university’s official admissions portal.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programmes

For B.Tech programmes, candidates are required to have secured a minimum of 50% marks in both Class X and Class XII examinations. Additionally, a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class XII is mandatory. The B.Tech offerings include specialisations such as Applied Petroleum Engineering, Fire and Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, VLSI Design and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Sustainability Engineering.

B.Sc. (Hons.) programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Geology necessitate a minimum of 50% marks in Class X and XII with PCM/B. Applicants for these programmes must also undertake a General Aptitude Test, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Biology sections.

For BBA programmes, including specialisations in Marketing/HR/Finance/Operations, Events, Public Relations and Corporate Communications, Analytics and Big Data, Digital Business, Oil and Gas Marketing, Logistics Management, Aviation Management, and Foreign Trade, candidates need a minimum of 50% marks at the Higher and Senior Secondary levels (Class X and XII). Admission to these BBA programmes involves a General Aptitude Test, English, Economics/Business Economics, and Business Studies.

B.Com (Hons.) applicants must have a minimum of 50% marks at the Higher and Senior Secondary levels (Class X and XII) and are required to take a General Aptitude Test, English, Accountancy/Book Keeping, Business Studies, and Economics/Business Economics.

Integrated and Global Pathway Programmes

UPES Dehradun also offers Integrated programmes, including Integrated (B.Com (Hons.)) – (MBA) and Integrated (BBA) – (MBA). For both integrated programmes, candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% marks at the Higher and Senior Secondary levels (Class X and XII). The Integrated (B.Com (Hons.)) – (MBA) requires a General Aptitude Test, English, Accountancy/Book Keeping, Business Studies, and Economics/Business Economics. The Integrated (BBA) – (MBA) requires a General Aptitude Test, English, Economics/Business Economics, and Business Studies. Integrated BBA – MBA admissions specifically require the UPESMET-UG examination.

The university has also introduced Global Pathway Programs for several disciplines. B.Tech Global Pathway Programs for Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Petroleum Engineering, and Civil Engineering involve two years of study at the UPES Campus followed by two years at an Overseas Campus. Similarly, the BBA (Events, Public Relations and Corporate Communications) Global Pathway Program follows a 2 Years in UPES Campus + 2 Years in Overseas Campus model. Other BBA Global Pathway Programs are available with either a 2 + 1 Years or a 2 + 2 Years structure, involving study at the UPES Campus and an Overseas Campus.
