How to Download SSC GD City Intimation Slip 2026?

City Intimation vs. Admit Card: What’s the Difference?

It is important to note that the City Intimation Slip is NOT the Admit Card.

• City Intimation Slip: Provides only the name of the city, the date of the exam, and the shift timing. It does not contain the name of the specific exam center or the detailed address.

• Admit Card (Hall Ticket): This is the mandatory document required for entry into the exam hall. The SSC will release the detailed Admit Cards approximately 3 to 4 days before your specific exam date. For example, if your exam is on April 27, you can expect your admit card by April 23 or 24.

New ‘Week Preference’ Feature

In a first-of-its-kind move for 2026, the SSC introduced a preference-based scheduling system. Candidates were given a window to choose their preferred exam week.

The commission has attempted to allot dates based on these preferences to minimize travel stress for students.
