Vahli Dikri Yojana (વ્હાલી દીકરી યોજના) is a Gujarat Government girl child scheme launched in August 2019. Under Vahli Dikri Yojana 2025-26, financial assistance from Rs 4,000 to Rs 1 Lakh is provided to first two girl children of eligible families. As per latest reports, more than 2.37 lakh girl children have been registered under this scheme in the last 5 years. The Gujarat State Government provides benefits at three stages – Class 1 admission (Rs 4,000), Class 9 admission (Rs 6,000), and at 18 years of age (Rs 1 Lakh). LIC of India has been appointed as Fund Management Agency for this scheme. Total disbursement under Vahli Dikri Yojana has reached Rs 544.09 crore till date.

Vahli Dikri Yojana Benefits 2025-26 – Installment-Wise Amount
Under Gujarat Vahli Dikri Yojana, total Rs 1,10,000 is provided in three installments. Girl children born after August 2, 2019 are eligible for benefits from Class 1 to 18 years age. If the earning member (Kamanar Vadil) dies, insurance amount is also provided to the family.
