The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially opened the WBJEE 2026 Form Correction window today, April 10, 2026. Candidates who have successfully registered for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 can now log in to the official portal to rectify errors in their application forms.

This is a critical phase for thousands of engineering and pharmacy aspirants across the state. Following the extension of the registration deadline to April 8, the board has stayed on schedule with the correction phase, which serves as the final opportunity for students to ensure their data is accurate before the admit cards are generated.

How to Edit WBJEE 2026 Application Form?

If you noticed a typo or uploaded a blurry document, follow these steps to fix your application:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to wbjeeb.nic.in.

  2. Access the Login: Click on the link “Online Application Form Correction for WBJEE 2026” under the Candidate Activity Board.

  3. Enter Credentials: Log in using your Application Number and Password created during registration.

  4. Edit Information: Once inside the dashboard, click on the “Edit Application Form” button.

  5. Review and Save: Make the necessary changes. Ensure you double-check the information before clicking ‘Submit’.

  6. Download Confirmation: After submitting the corrected form, download and print the updated Confirmation Page for your records.

What Can You Edit? (And What You Can’t)

While the board allows most details to be modified, certain “Primary Data” points are locked to maintain the integrity of the registration.

Non-Editable Fields:

  • Candidate’s Name

  • Father’s Name

  • Mother’s Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Gender

  • Domicile

Editable Fields:

  • Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)

  • Academic qualifications and marks

  • Address and contact details

  • Exam center preferences

  • Uploaded Photograph and Signature (if flagged by the board or incorrect)

Why is Form Correction Important?

Any discrepancy between your application and your original documents (like your 10th or 12th mark sheets) can lead to the cancellation of your candidature during the counseling and admission process. Even if you qualify for the exam with a high rank, a mismatch in category or personal details can disqualify you from seat allotment.

Quick Checklist Before Final Submit:

  • Photo & Signature: Ensure they are clear and follow the specified dimensions (10-200 KB for photo).

  • Category Status: Check if you have selected the correct reservation category.

  • Academic Data: Cross-verify your board marks and passing years.

What Happens Next?

Once the correction window closes on April 12, the WBJEEB will process the data to issue admit cards. The WBJEE 2026 Admit Cards are expected to be available for download starting May 15, 2026.

The exam remains scheduled for May 24, 2026 (Sunday). It will be conducted in two shifts:

  • Paper-I (Mathematics): 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

  • Paper-II (Physics & Chemistry): 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
