This round, which began on September 26, 2026, is specifically for ACAP (All India Quota) seats and serves as a final opportunity for candidates seeking admission to 5-year LLB courses in Maharashtra law colleges.

Candidates who have not yet secured a seat in previous CAP rounds or new applicants can register or modify their application forms online through the official portal, llb5cap26.mahacet.org. The entire Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the 5-year LLB programme typically includes three main centralized rounds, followed by institute-level rounds if seats remain vacant.

Registration and Application Details for Round 4

The online registration process for MH CET Law 5-Year LLB 2026 CAP Round 4 requires new candidates to create a profile, while existing candidates can edit their previously submitted forms. This round is critical for filling ACAP seats, which often become available due to students not joining their allotted colleges in earlier rounds. Only candidates with a non-zero MH CET Law 2026 score are eligible to participate in these CAP rounds.

The registration process is entirely online, and document verification is a mandatory step before candidates can fill their college preferences. The Maharashtra State CET Cell had previously extended the deadline for caste validity certificate submission for the Academic Year 2026-27 on September 4, 2026. The CAP registration fee for applicants seeking a category change is Rs. 200.

Required documents for registration include the MH CET Law Admit Card, MH CET Law Scorecard/Result, Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheets, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Identity Proof, Passport Size Photograph, and Signature.

Admission Timeline and Next Steps

Following the conclusion of registration today, colleges are scheduled to generate online merit lists through the CAP portal for ACAP seats and Management Quota seats on September 30, 2026. These generated merit lists will be available on the CAP portal and will also be uploaded on college notice boards and websites.

Candidates who stumble upon their names on the declared merit list must report to their allotted institutes to seek admission in the Institute Level round. This admission window is set from October 1, 2026, to October 4, 2026, during which colleges will confirm admissions through their login. The cut-off date for all admissions for the 5-year LLB programme is October 5, 2026, with no admissions permitted after this date.

The MH CET Law 5-year LLB exam was conducted on May 8, 2026, with admit cards released on May 3, 2026. The initial CAP counseling registration was expected to open in June 2026. There are 10,860 seats available across participating colleges for the 5-year LLB programme.

Previous CAP Round Activities

Earlier stages of the CAP process included the display of vacant seats for Round-III on September 3, 2026. The final merit list for Round-III was published on September 16, 2026, with allocations made on September 18, 2026. Candidates reported to colleges for Round III admission from September 19, 2026, to September 23, 2026, and colleges uploaded admitted candidates for Round III on September 24, 2026.
