Revised Exam Schedule: Important Dates

It is crucial for students to note that the ICAI recently updated the examination schedule for the Intermediate course. Ensure you follow the revised dates to avoid any confusion.

CA Intermediate (Revised Dates)

  • Group I: May 5, 7, and 9, 2026

  • Group II: May 11, 13, and 15, 2026

CA Final (Original Dates)

  • Group I: May 2, 4, and 6, 2026

  • Group II: May 8, 10, and 12, 2026

All examinations are scheduled to take place in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST). While the dates for the Intermediate exams were shifted slightly due to unavoidable reasons, the exam timings remain unchanged.

Key Details to Check on Your Hall Ticket

After downloading the admit card, candidates are advised to verify the following information:

  • Candidate’s Name and Registration Number

  • Exam Center Address: Ensure you know the exact location of your center to avoid last-minute delays.

  • Candidate’s Photograph & Signature: If the photo or signature is missing or blurry, candidates are usually required to carry an attested photograph and a valid ID proof.

Exam Instructions: Read the “Instructions to Examinees” carefully, as they contain vital rules regarding the use of calculators, stationery, and entry timings.

Technical Support and Helpdesk

If you encounter any difficulty in downloading the hall ticket or notice discrepancies in the data, you should immediately reach out to the ICAI helpdesk. You can contact them via the following channels:

  • Intermediate Candidates: intermediate_examhelpline@icai.in

  • Final Candidates: final_examhelpline@icai.in

  • Phone: 0120-3054 851, 852, 853, or 835.

The institute has also addressed recent rumors regarding changes in the conducting authority of the CA exams, labeling them as “factually incorrect.” ICAI remains the sole statutory body responsible for conducting these examinations and has urged students to focus solely on their studies and official notifications.

As the countdown to the May 2026 exams begins, candidates are encouraged to keep a few extra copies of their admit card and a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, or Passport) ready for the exam days.
