NEET MDS 2026 Final Edit Window Opens at natboard.edu.in: Last Chance to Correct Details by April 22

The NEET MDS 2026 final selective edit window closes today, April 22, at 11:55 PM; candidates must correct photographs and signatures at natboard.edu.in to ensure their admit cards are issued on April 29.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially opened the final selective edit window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2026.

This is the last opportunity for registered candidates to rectify any discrepancies in their application forms before the exam scheduled for early May.

Candidates who have already paid their application fees but have been notified about “deficient” images or signatures must log in to the official portal, natboard.edu.in, to make the necessary changes. The window is strictly time-bound and will close today, April 22, 2026, at 11:55 PM.

Important Dates for NEET MDS 2026

Staying updated with the timeline is crucial for dental aspirants. Here is the schedule for the upcoming weeks:

Admit Card Release Date April 29, 2026
NEET MDS 2026 Exam Date May 2, 2026

What Can You Edit?

The final edit window is not for changing all details. NBEMS has specified that this “selective” window is primarily for correcting images that do not meet the prescribed guidelines. Candidates can update:

  • Photograph: Ensure the background is white and the face is clearly visible.

  • Signature: Must be on white paper with black/blue ink.

  • Thumb Impression: Must be clear and not blurred.

Note: Critical details like the candidate’s name, nationality, email ID, and test city cannot be changed during this final phase.

How to Make Corrections? Step-by-Step Guide

If you have received an email from NBEMS regarding deficiencies in your application, follow these steps to fix them:

  1. Visit the Official Site: Go to natboard.edu.in.

  2. Login: Click on the NEET MDS 2026 tab and enter your User ID and Password.

  3. Access Application: Open your submitted application form.

  4. Edit Images: Upload the corrected photograph, signature, or thumb impression as required.

  5. Preview and Submit: Review the changes carefully. Once you click ‘Submit,’ no further changes can be made.

  6. Save Confirmation: Download and print the revised confirmation page for your records.

City Intimation Slip and Demo Test

Parallel to the edit window, NBEMS has also released the City Intimation Slip today. While this is not the admit card, it allows candidates to see which city they have been allotted, helping them make travel arrangements in advance.

Additionally, a demo test link is now active on the portal. This simulation helps candidates get used to the computer-based test (CBT) interface, navigation, and the countdown timer, ensuring they don’t face technical confusion on the actual exam day.

Exam Pattern Overview

The NEET MDS 2026 exam will be held on May 2, 2026, in a single shift.

  • Total Questions: 240 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

  • Structure: Divided into Part A (100 questions) and Part B (140 questions).

  • Marking Scheme: +4 for each correct answer; -1 for each incorrect response (25% negative marking).

  • Language: The exam is conducted in English only.

Candidates are advised not to wait until the last hour to upload their documents, as heavy website traffic could lead to technical glitches.
