Candidates can follow these official steps to log in and download their hall ticket from the official candidate portal:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official IAF AFCAT portal at afcat.edcil.co.in.

  2. Access Candidate Login: Click on the “Candidate Login” tab located on the homepage and select the “AFCAT 02/2026” option.

  3. Enter Credentials: Enter your registered Email ID and Password along with the displayed captcha code for security verification.

  4. View Hall Ticket: Click the “Submit” button to open your candidate dashboard.

  5. Download and Save: Select the “Download Admit Card” link to display your AFCAT 2026 hall ticket on the screen.

  6. Print Copies: Download the PDF file and take at least two clear printouts on A4-size paper for exam day reference.

AFCAT 2026 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

The AFCAT online written examination will consist of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a maximum of 300 marks. The total duration of the test is 2 hours (120 minutes), running from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

  • Subjects Covered: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test.

  • Marking Scheme: Candidates will receive +3 marks for every correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response (-1 negative marking). No marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.

Important Exam Day Guidelines & Documents Required

Reporting at the examination venue begins at 8:00 AM and closes strictly at 9:30 AM. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam venue under any circumstances after the gate closing time.

Mandatory Documents to Carry:

  • A clear printed copy of the AFCAT 2026 e-admit card.

  • Original photo ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.

  • Two recent passport-sized color photographs matching the image uploaded during application registration.

  • A blue or black ballpoint pen for rough work and sign-in procedures.

Electronic items including mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, and bags are strictly forbidden inside the examination premises.
