The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results for the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 on September 18, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download their scorecards from the official AIAPGET website, exams.nta.nic.in/aiapget, to proceed with admissions for the academic session 2026–27.
The AIAPGET 2026 is the sole entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate ASU & H Courses, including MD/MS programmes in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy, for both All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats. No other AYUSH colleges, institutions, universities, or deemed universities will conduct separate entrance exams for these courses for the 2026-27 academic session.
Examination Overview and Candidate Participation
The AIAPGET 2026 examination was initially conducted on August 22, 2026, across 205 centres in 104 cities. Following an incident, a re-examination was held on September 1, 2026, for 49 candidates at an affected centre in Jaipur. The NTA conducts AIAPGET on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush, the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), with approval from the Ministry of Education.
A total of 51,482 candidates registered for AIAPGET 2026, with 49,864 candidates ultimately appearing for the examination. This included 35,838 candidates for Ayurveda, 10,643 for Homoeopathy, 734 for Siddha, and 2,649 for Unani. The final answer key for the examination was released on September 18, 2026, coinciding with the result declaration.
Topper Performance Across Disciplines
The NTA has also released details of the top performers in each discipline. In Ayurveda, the topper secured 390 marks with a percentile of 99.9972097. The Homoeopathy topper achieved 417 marks and a 99.9906042 percentile. For Siddha, the highest score was 319 marks with a percentile of 99.8637602, while the Unani topper scored 359 marks, securing a 99.9622499 percentile.
The AIAPGET 2026 scorecard provides essential candidate information, including name, roll number, application number, date of birth, category, marks obtained, percentile score, All India Rank, and cut-off percentile. Candidates are advised to download and print their scorecards for the upcoming counselling process.
Counselling Process and Key Dates
Following the result declaration, the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) will conduct counselling for all All India Quota seats. State and Union Territory counselling authorities will be responsible for conducting counselling for their respective State/UT quota seats. Candidates who have qualified AIAPGET 2026 are eligible to participate in these subsequent admission and counselling processes.
The application window for AIAPGET 2026 commenced on July 10, 2026, with the last date for registration and fee payment being July 30, 2026. Admit cards were made available on August 18, 2026. The application fee was Rs. 2700 for General (UR) Candidates, Rs. 2450 for General-EWS/ OBC-(NCL), and Rs. 1800 for SC / ST/ PwD/ Third Gender candidates.
