The University of Delhi (DU) has officially issued a revised timeline for the second round of undergraduate allocations and admissions under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS UG 2026–27). According to an official notification released by the Dean of Admissions, the deadline to accept allotted seats has been extended to July 27, 2026 (11:59 PM). Previously, the deadline for the same for July 26, 2026 (11:59 pm).

The revised schedule provides candidates with additional time to log into the admission portal ugadmission.uod.ac.in and confirm their allotted seats. Consequently, the deadlines for college-level application verification and online admission fee payment have also been extended to streamline the enrolment process.

How to Accept DU CSAS UG Round 2 Allotted Seat

Candidates allocated a fresh seat or an upgraded seat in Round 2 must manually accept the seat on the CSAS portal before the deadline.

1. Visit Portal: Go to the official DU UG admission website at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. 

2. Log In: Enter your CUET UG 2026 application number and password to log into your dashboard.

3. Check Status: View the allotted college and program details under the Round 2 allotment tab.

4. Accept Allocation: Click on the “Accept” button to confirm your intent to secure the seat.

5. Download Copy: Save and print the confirmation page for future reference.

What Happens If You Do Not Accept the Allotted Seat by July 27?

Failing to accept the allotted seat within the stipulated timeframe carries significant consequences under DU admission guidelines:

• Forfeiture of Seat: Non-acceptance by July 27, 2026 (11:59 PM) will lead to immediate cancellation of the Round 2 allocation.

• Disqualification from Regular Allocation: The candidate will forfeit the right to claim the offered seat and will be removed from subsequent regular CSAS allocation rounds.

• Loss of Preference: Upgraded candidates who do not accept their newly allocated seat will lose both their new offer and their previously secured Round 1 seat.

Once a candidate accepts the seat, the admission workflow moves to the verification and payment phases:

• College Verification: The designated college verifies the candidate’s uploaded academic certificates, CUET scores, and category credentials online.

• Fee Payment: Upon approval by the college principal, a fee payment link will activate on the candidate’s portal dashboard. Online fee payment must be completed by July 29, 2026 (11:59 PM).

• Commencement of Academic Session: Classes for the 2026–27 academic session officially begin on July 28, 2026. Candidates who complete their fee submission early are eligible to join classes on day one.

• Download Allotment Letter: Keep a digital and physical copy of your Round 2 seat allotment slip from the CSAS portal.

• Keep Documents Ready: Ensure unedited, clear original scans of Class 10/12 mark sheets, CUET scorecards, and category certificates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) are available for online verification. DU strictly warns against uploading AI-manipulated or edited documents.

• Complete Formalities Timely: Pay the admission fee as soon as college approval is granted to prevent server congestion near the July 29 cutoff.
