A total of 10,577 candidates submitted their explicit consent to participate and be considered for vacant seats across various postgraduate disciplines. Out of these applicants, 1,358 candidates successfully secured seat allocations based on their merit, category-wise reservations, and course-specific availability.

CUET PG Score & Merit: Candidate performance in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) served as the primary benchmark for candidate evaluation.
Category Reservations: All allotments adhere strictly to statutory reservation policies across Unreserved (UR), OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD categories.
Vacant Seat Matrix: Seats were allocated strictly against the remaining unfulfilled quota in each department or college.
Tie-Breaking Regulations: Standard tie-breaking rules were invoked wherever two or more candidates achieved identical normalized test scores for a single seat.

Crucial Deadlines for Allocated Candidates

For applicants who have received a seat allocation in Spot Round-I, immediate action is mandatory to lock in their admission. Delhi University has established a strict schedule to ensure administrative processing remains on track:

Seat Acceptance Deadline: Allotted candidates must log in to their candidate dashboard and formally “Accept” their assigned seat by 4:59 PM on July 31. Failure to accept the seat within the designated window will result in automatic cancellation of the allocation.
Document Verification: Participating departments and colleges will review and verify the online applications and uploaded documents between July 30 and August 1.
Fee Payment: Once the department approves the application online, candidates must complete their admission fee payment on or before August 2 to confirm their seat.

The Admission Branch has reassured candidates that every attempt has been made to maintain precision in the cut-off data.
