HP Board 10th, 12th datesheet 2027 expected in November

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is expected to release the datesheets for the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Plus Two) annual examinations for 2027 in November 2026. As of October 19, 2026, the official timetable has not yet been announced by the board.

Students preparing for the 2027 examinations can anticipate the theory exams to be conducted around March 2027. The datesheets, once released, will be accessible on the official HPBOSE website, hpbose.org, and will detail the subject-wise examination schedule, timings, duration, and important instructions for candidates.

Datesheet Release Trends and Exam Schedule

Based on past trends, the HPBOSE typically releases the examination schedules in November of the preceding year. For the 2026 examinations, the Matric and Plus Two datesheets were issued on November 26, 2025. The theory exams for Class 12 in 2026 were held from March 3 to April 1, 2026, with practical exams conducted from February 20 to February 28, 2026.

The examinations for Class 12 in 2026 were conducted in a single shift, from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM. Admit cards for these exams were issued in February 2026. Students are advised to regularly check the official HPBOSE website for the latest updates regarding the 2027 datesheet.

Recent Activities and Academic Updates from HPBOSE

In recent months, HPBOSE has undertaken several initiatives and released important notifications. The board declared the Class X July 2026 supplementary exam results on August 27, 2026, and the Class 12th Supplementary Examination Result for July 2026 on August 22, 2026. Supplementary exams for both classes were held on July 3.

The board also released revised model question papers for the 2026–27 academic session on October 11, 2026, aligning with NEP-2020. A new exam pattern for classes 9 to 12 was introduced, with revised model question papers released on August 18, 2026. Furthermore, HPBOSE issued a new affiliation calendar for private schools for the academic session 2027–28 on September 20, 2026. The last date for registration for classes 9th to 12th without a late fee was October 12, 2026.

Instructions for Downloading the Datesheet

Once the datesheet is released, students can download it from the official HPBOSE website by following a specific procedure. This involves navigating to the ‘Date Sheet’ section, which is typically found under student or examination-related links on the homepage.

Students will need to locate the ‘Matric and Plus Two timetable notification’ for 2027, open the corresponding PDF file, and then download it to check their subject-wise exam dates, timings, and other instructions. The board has also been active in addressing examination irregularities, detecting 27 cases of cheating in SOS exams on October 3, 2026, and warning 129 study centres over non-conduct of PCP classes on September 18, 2026.
