  • Where to challenge: Log in to your candidate dashboard at htet.eapplynow.com and click on the “File Objection” button.

  • Objection Fee: You must pay a processing fee of ₹100 per question that you challenge. This can be paid online via net banking, debit card, or credit card.

How to Calculate Your Marks Using HTET PGT Answer Key

Calculating your score early helps you understand if you have qualified for the certificate. The HTET paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions.

To calculate your score accurately, follow this marking scheme pattern:

  • Correct Answer: Add +1 mark for every answer that matches the official key.

  • Incorrect Answer: Do not subtract any marks (0 deduction). There is no negative marking in the HTET exam.

  • Unattempted Questions: Leave them as 0.

Score Calculation Formula:

What Happens Next After the Provisional Answer Key?

Once the objection window closes on July 9, the board will hand over all candidate feedback to an independent panel of subject matter experts.

If any corrections are required, BSEH will revise the responses and release a Final HTET Answer Key. Your final result and scorecard will be calculated strictly based on that updated final key. The final results are expected to be announced on the official website toward the end of July 2026.
