The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has started the MAH BBA/BMS/BBM CET CAP 2026 registration process for admission to BBA, BMS, BBM and Integrated MBA programmes across the state. Eligible candidates can complete the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) registration online through the official admission portal until July 16, 2026.

The CAP registration is mandatory for candidates seeking admission through MAH CET 2026 scores. This year, the CET Cell has also implemented revised admission guidelines, including expanded eligibility for certain undergraduate management programmes. Candidates can follow these steps to complete the registration process:

  1. Visit the official MAH CET admission portal.
  2. Choose ‘BBA/BMS/BBM/MBA(Int.)’ form Under Graduate Courses List. 
  3. Register using the required personal details.
  4. Fill in academic and entrance examination information carefully.
  5. Upload all prescribed documents in the specified format.
  6. Verify the application details.
  7. Pay the applicable counselling fee, if required.
  8. Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.

The CET Cell advises candidates to keep scanned copies of all documents ready before beginning the registration process.

MAH CET 2026: Eligibility Criteria for CAP Registration 

The eligibility criteria for MAH CET 2026 CAP registration vary based on the candidate category and the programme for which admission is sought.

BBA/BMS/BBM (Maharashtra State Candidates) Must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board and secured a non-zero score in MAH BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2026 or MHT CET 2026 (PCM/PCB group).
BBA/BMS/BBM (All India Candidates) Must have passed Class 12 and obtained a non-zero score in CUET UG 2026 or the relevant Maharashtra CET. Preference will be given to candidates with valid CUET UG 2026 scores.
Integrated MBA (4-Year Programme) Must have passed Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for Reserved Category, EWS, and PwD candidates) and possess a valid entrance examination score as prescribed by the Maharashtra State CET Cell.

MAH BBA CET CAP 2026 Registration Fees

Candidates applying for the MAH BBA CET CAP 2026 counselling process are required to pay a one-time registration fee based on their candidature category. However, candidates seeking admission using a MAH BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2026 score are exempt from paying the CAP registration fee.

Documents Required for MAH BBA/BMS/BBM CET CAP Registration 2026 

Applicants should keep the following documents ready during CAP registration:

  • MAH BBA/BMS/BBM CET 2026 scorecard
  • Class 10 marksheet and certificate
  • Class 12 marksheet or qualifying examination certificate
  • Aadhaar Card
  • APAAR ID (where applicable)
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Candidate’s signature
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate and validity certificate (reserved category candidates)
  • Income certificate (for EWS or fee concession, if applicable)
  • Non-Creamy Layer certificate (where applicable)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

Candidates can choose either E-Scrutiny, under which documents are uploaded online for verification, or Physical Scrutiny, where candidates must visit designated Facilitation Centres (FCs) for document verification. Regardless of the mode selected, the verification process must be completed by July 17, 2026. 

MAH BBA/BMS/BBM CET CAP 2026 Counselling Process 

The MAH CET 2026 counselling is conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The admission process generally includes the following stages:

  • Online CAP registration
  • Uploading and verification of documents
  • Publication of provisional merit list
  • Submission of grievances, if any
  • Release of final merit list
  • Choice filling and option form submission
  • Seat allotment across multiple CAP rounds
  • Acceptance of allotted seat
  • Reporting to the allotted institute for final admission

Seat allotment is carried out strictly on the basis of merit, reservation rules, category and preferences filled by candidates. Generally, three or more CAP rounds are conducted depending on seat availability.

About MAH BBA/BMS/BBM CET 

The MAH BBA/BMS/BBM CET is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell for admission to undergraduate management programmes, including BBA, BMS, BBM, BCA and related courses offered by participating colleges across Maharashtra.
