Karnataka Board SSLC, 2nd PUC exam 2027 datesheets released today: check schedule

The 2nd PUC Exam 1 is tentatively scheduled from February 27 to March 17, 2027, and Exam 2 from May 3 to May 15, 2027.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) today, 30 October 2026, released the tentative date sheets for the Karnataka Board SSLC (Class 10) and 2nd PUC (Class 12) Examinations for 2027. The timetables are available on the official website of KSEAB, providing an early schedule for candidates preparing for the upcoming board examinations.

This release aims to inform students appearing for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations about the tentative exam schedule. The board had previously provided a 15-day window, which concluded on October 22, 2026, for submitting objections against the tentative exam schedule. The final timetable will be released after considering the grievances submitted.

Karnataka SSLC Exam 2027 Schedule

The SSLC Exam 1 is tentatively scheduled to commence on March 22, 2027, and conclude on April 5, 2027. All papers for SSLC Exam 1 will be conducted in a single shift, from 10 am to 1.15 pm. The examination will begin with the first language paper and conclude with the Social Science paper. For differently abled children, extra time will be provided: 60 minutes for a 3-hour paper, 50 minutes for a 2-hour 30-minute paper, 40 minutes for a 2-hour paper, and 30 minutes for a 1-hour 30-minute paper.

Class 10 examinations for Languages, Core Subjects, and JTS Subjects will be held from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm, while 2nd and 3rd Languages will be conducted from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The SSLC Exam 2 is tentatively scheduled from May 24 to May 31, 2027. In comparison, the SSLC Exam 1 in 2025 was held from March 21 to April 4, and in 2026, it ran from March 18 to April 2. The 2026 SSLC Exam 2 ran from May 18 to May 25.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2027 Schedule

The Karnataka PUC 2 final Exam 1 is tentatively set to begin on February 27, 2027, and end on March 18, 2027. This examination will also be held in a single shift, from 10 am to 1 pm, commencing with Kannada and Arabic papers and concluding with the History paper. The Karnataka PUC 2 final Exam 2 is tentatively scheduled from May 3, 2027, to May 15, 2027, also in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. The question paper for PUC 2 final Exam 2 will have 80 marks. This exam will begin with Kannada and Arabic papers, along with Hindustani Music, Electronics and Hardware, Apparels Madeups and Home Furnishings, Information Technology, Retail, Automobile, Health care, and Beauty and Wellness papers.

For context, the PUC 2 final Exam 1 in 2025 was held from March 1 to March 20, and in 2026, it ran from February 28 to March 17. The 2027 2nd PUC exam window is almost the same as 2026, while SSLC Exam 1 starts four days later. The 2026 timetables were released in November 2025, whereas the 2027 tentative schedule was published a month earlier.

Objections and Official Information

The deadline for submitting objections against the tentative exam schedule was October 22, 2026. Objections for the SSLC timetable could be mailed to dpikseab@gmail.com, while those for the 2nd PUC timetable could be sent to directorpuekseab@gmail.com. The final timetable will be released by KSEAB after reviewing all submitted grievances.
