Rajasthan University (RU) has officially opened the Phase 1 of its Postgraduate (PG) admissions for the academic session 2026-27 on July 13, 2026. The last date to apply for RU PG courses is 3rd August 2026. Eligible students can apply for a total of 28 programes in this phase at uniraj.ac.in. RU PG 2026-27 admission process will be fully online and final selection will be based on the entrance exam score, conducted by the university itself. Applicants can apply for up to three subjects, with fees ranging from Rs. 850 – 1,330 (General) and Rs. 660 to Rs. 1,090 (SC/ST).

Rajasthan University PG Admissions 2026-27: Selection Process

The merit list will be prepared by assigning 70% weightage to the RU PG entrance examination score and 30% weightage to the marks obtained in the qualifying graduation degree, as specified in the University Prospectus 2026-27.
Any additional weightage, wherever applicable, will be awarded in accordance with the provisions mentioned in the Prospectus.
Reservation benefits will be provided as per the Government of Rajasthan’s reservation policy.
For Drawing and Painting programmes, candidates must also appear for a 30-mark Practical Test conducted by the concerned department.
