BBAU UG admission 2026-27 registration extended: apply by 30 September

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) has extended the registration deadline for its undergraduate (UG) admission for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates now have until September 30, 2026, to complete their applications. The university released a public notice regarding this extension on September 21, 2026.

This extension aims to provide additional time for candidates, including those who may not have completed their applications earlier or are tracking CUET UG counselling at other central universities. The extended window allows BBAU to remain an option for aspirants seeking a central university seat, which holds recognised value across states.

The revised last date to apply for BBAU UG admission is September 30, 2026. Previously, the registration deadline for the 2026-27 academic session was September 17, 2026, and is currently closed on the Samarth portal. The application process for BBAU UG admission is entirely online, requiring candidates to register, submit the application form, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee through the official portal, bbau.ac.in.

To apply, candidates must visit bbau.ac.in, open the UG Admission 2026-27 registration link, create an account, enter personal and academic details, upload required documents, and pay the application fee. The application fee is INR 500 for Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Class (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories, and INR 300 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories. A late fee penalty of INR 1000 was applicable for all categories if registering between July 31, 2026, and August 5, 2026, per previous information.

Eligibility Criteria and Required Documents

To be eligible for BBAU UG programmes, applicants must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Programme-wise eligibility criteria may vary based on required subject combinations. Candidates are advised to consult the official admission bulletin for detailed eligibility requirements. Reserved category candidates must present valid category certificates during the counselling process. Other requirements related to age, domicile, and quota rules will be applicable as per the official prospectus.

Required documents for the application include Class 10 and 12 Marksheets, the CUET UG Score Card, a passport-size photograph, a scanned signature, and category or disability certificates if applicable.
