NEET UG Rajasthan Special Stray Round seat matrix out: report to colleges by 16 November

The Rajasthan NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission Counselling Board today, November 5, 2026, released the Special Stray Round seat matrix for MBBS and BDS admissions for the 2026-27 academic year. The seat matrix, detailing vacant state quota seats, is available on the official portal ug.neetrajasthan.com and at SMS Medical College, Jaipur.

This Special Stray Round represents the last opportunity to fill remaining vacant MBBS and BDS seats in Rajasthan after the conclusion of earlier counselling rounds, including Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. The counselling process is being conducted in compliance with the schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Special Stray Round Eligibility and Key Dates

Only NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates holding a Rajasthan domicile who registered for the Special Stray Round are eligible to participate. Candidates currently holding an allotted seat from the earlier stray round are barred from this round, while those who resigned within the permitted window remain eligible. Fresh registration for MBBS and BDS for this round commenced on November 4, 2026, with the application fee payment deadline set for 4:00 PM on November 5, 2026, and the final submission of application forms (Part 1 and Part 2) by 8:00 PM on the same day.

Original document verification and submission are scheduled for November 6–7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur. The provisional combined merit list will be published on November 7, 2026. The security deposit window is open from November 7 to November 10, 2026, until 5:00 PM on the last day. Online choice filling and locking will also occur during this period, with auto-locking of choices at 11:45 PM on November 10, 2026.

Seat Allotment and Reporting Procedures

The provisional seat allotment result for the Special Stray Round is scheduled for November 11, 2026. Following this, candidates can print their online application form from November 11 to November 16, 2026, and their allotment letter from November 12 to November 16, 2026. The deposition of one-year tuition fees is also scheduled from November 12 to November 16, 2026.

Reporting to the allotted college with original documents and submitting them at the allotted college desk, Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, is mandated from November 13 to November 16, 2026, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Required documents include the NEET UG 2026 scorecard, admit card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, and a Rajasthan domicile certificate. A bond is mandatory for state quota admissions. Candidates who do not join their allotted seat in this round will face security deposit forfeiture and applicable bond conditions. In addition, candidates who join through this round cannot resign from the course before the last date of admission.

Overview of Medical and Dental Seats in Rajasthan

Rajasthan offers a total of 4,531 government MBBS seats and 2,800 private MBBS seats. For BDS admissions, there are 100 government seats and 1,500 private seats. The non-refundable registration fee for the Special Stray Round is INR 2,500, with a reduced fee of INR 1,500 for Rajasthan domicile SC, ST, and ST-STA candidates.

The counselling board also scheduled Round 5 counselling for BDS admissions. The academic session for NEET UG 2026 commenced on September 15, 2026.
