This first round of allotment supports admissions to first-year undergraduate BPharm and postgraduate PharmD courses across 528 participating pharmacy colleges in Maharashtra. Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to complete their reporting to the respective institutes by September 30, 2026, at 05:00 PM.

CAP Round 1 Allotment Overview

For the CAP Round 1 process, 35,988 applicants submitted their college preferences. Out of these, 28,139 candidates successfully secured seats in the 528 pharmacy colleges across the state. Notably, 14,736 individuals, which is more than half of the allotted students, received their first college preference.

The CET Cell has also made available institute-wise allotment lists, category-wise seat matrices, and the opening and closing cut-off ranks for both Maharashtra State and All India candidates. The total available seats across the 528 pharmacy colleges for the 2026-27 academic year stand at 46,984.

Reporting and Seat Acceptance Process

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in CAP Round 1 must first self-verify their allotment and accept the declaration through their candidate login on the official portal. This involves verifying details such as qualifying marks, category, gender, reservation, and other claims made during the application process.

Those who received their first-preference college are automatically ‘auto-frozen’ and are required to pay the applicable seat acceptance fee. Auto-frozen candidates will not be eligible to participate in any subsequent CAP rounds. Candidates who received a seat other than their first preference have the option to accept the seat or proceed if you look at the rules of the CAP process for potential participation in later rounds. The provisional vacant seats for the next round are scheduled to be announced on October 1, 2026.

Sanctioned Intake at Bombay College of Pharmacy
