CAT 2026: Key Dates and Exam Pattern

IIM Indore, the conducting body for CAT 2026, has confirmed that the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 exam will be held on November 29, 2026. The registration window for CAT 2026 commenced on August 3, 2026, and is scheduled to close on September 15, 2026. The registration fee for general candidates is ₹2,700, while reserved category candidates are required to pay ₹1,350. The CAT 2026 Notification was released on July 26, 2026, with Professor Aditya Billore, Professor of Marketing at IIM Indore, serving as the CAT 2026 Convener.

The CAT 2026 exam duration is set for 2 hours (120 minutes) and is expected to feature 68 questions distributed across three sections. The scoring pattern for CAT 2026 awards +3 marks for each correct answer and deducts -1 mark for incorrect answers, with no negative marking applied to TITA (Type In The Answer) questions. Candidates can anticipate the release of CAT 2026 results by the first week of January 2027.

XAT 2027: Registration and Exam Details

XLRI Jamshedpur has announced that the XAT 2027 exam will be conducted on January 3, 2027. The registration process for XAT 2027 began earlier, on July 15, 2026, and will conclude on December 6, 2026. The basic registration fee for XAT is ₹2,300. The XAT 2027 exam duration is 180 minutes, with approximately 95 questions expected to be part of the test structure.

Nmat by Gmac 2026: Testing Window and Fees

GMAC has opened the registration for NMAT 2026, which will remain active until October 10, 2026. The NMAT 2026 testing window is scheduled from November 2 to December 20, 2026, offering candidates flexibility in choosing their exam slot. The test-registration fee for NMAT 2026 is ₹3,000, plus applicable taxes. The NMAT by GMAC examination comprises 108 questions to be completed within a 120-minute duration.

Snap 2026: Multiple Attempts and Result Date

Symbiosis International will conduct the SNAP 2026 exam on three distinct dates: December 13, December 19, and December 26, 2026. Registration for SNAP 2026 commenced on August 21, 2026, and will close on November 25, 2026. The test fee for SNAP 2026 is ₹2,550 per attempt, along with applicable taxes. The SNAP 2026 result is scheduled to be released on January 12, 2027. The examination features a new four-section structure, including General English (10 questions), Analytical & Logical Reasoning (20 questions), Quantitative, DI & DS (20 questions), and Ethics, Morality & (remaining questions).

CMAT and MAT 2026-27: Upcoming Schedules

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to open CMAT 2027 registration around October–November 2026, with the exam anticipated to be conducted in January 2027. The CMAT 2027 registration fee is set at ₹2,500. For MAT 2026, conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), the Paper-Based Test (PBT) was held on September 13, 2026, and the Computer-Based Test (CBT) on September 20, 2026. The latest session of ATMA 2026, administered by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), was conducted on July 12, 2026.
