NRTS admit card 2026 released: download by school code, password for September 22 exam

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE Odisha), released the National Rural Talent Scholarship (NRTS) exam admit card 2026 on September 15, 2026. The admit card was made available on the official website, bseodisha.nic.in, for students who had completed their online registration for the scholarship examination.

The NRTS exam 2026 was later conducted on September 22, 2026. This scholarship aims to support students at the secondary level, with the admit card serving as a crucial document for candidates to appear in the examination.

Admit Card Download and Exam Guidelines

Students who completed the NRTS online registration were able to download their admit cards from the official website. The process required candidates to enter their school code and password into the designated login window. The admit card was a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall, and candidates were advised to carry it with them.

It was specified that the NRTS admit card would not be sent via post. In addition, once the admit card had been issued, the exam centre could not be changed. Exam centres were allocated based on preferences indicated during the registration process.

Key Dates and Examination Structure

The online application dates for the NRTS 2026 exam were from August 11 to August 20, 2026, with the last date for online registration being August 25, 2026. Following the examination on September 22, 2026, the NRTS Result Declaration is scheduled for October 28, 2026.

The NRTS examination 2026 was a composite paper consisting of four sections: MIL, Mathematics, General Science, and Social Science. Questions were drawn from the syllabus of Class VIII. Each section carried a full mark of 25, leading to a total of 100 marks for the entire examination. All questions were of multiple-choice type, with answers to be marked on an OMR Answer Sheet by darkening the correct option out of four choices.

Comparison with Previous Cycles and Scholarship Details

In the previous year, the NRTS admit card for 2025 was issued on September 10, 2025. For the NRTS 2024 examination, the application process commenced on September 5, 2024, and concluded on September 20, 2024, with a fee payment deadline of September 21, 2024. The examination fee for NRTS 2024 was INR 60/-.

Selected students in NRTS 2024 were slated to receive a scholarship of Rs. 250 per month for a duration of 24 months. The results for the NRTS 2024 examination were released in November 2024, with the award memo for selected students being issued by the district education officer.
