PGDGSP: Apply by October 27, 5 PM

Kannur University has announced an extension for the online application deadline for its Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics for Spatial Planning (PGDGSP) program. Prospective students now have until October 27, 2026, at 5 PM, to complete their online registration.

This extension aims to provide additional time for students to register through the university’s official website, www.admission.kannuruniversity.ac.in. The decision was formally approved by the Deputy Registrar (DOA) on October 26, 2026, at 03:27 PM, according to a press release (file number DOA/A4/334/2026).

PGDGSP Application and Support

Previous Examination and Revaluation Schedules

Kannur University has a history of conducting various examinations and managing revaluation processes for its postgraduate programs. The First Semester P.G Diploma in Geoinformatics for Spatial Planning Examinations for Regular-2025 Admission were held in November 2025, followed by the Second Semester PG DIPLOMA Regular (2025 Admission) Examination in May 2026.

The university also recently concluded the revaluation process for II-semester PG April 2026 window, with the last date for revaluation applications being October 16, 2026, at 5 PM. The revaluation fees for PG papers are Rs 995 per paper, while a photocopy of an answer sheet costs Rs 295, and scrutiny of an answer sheet costs Rs 145. Fees for revaluation must be paid exclusively through the university’s e-payment portal, with SBI Collect not being accepted for this purpose. The university estimates approximately 45 working days for online revaluation processing, and no refunds apply for revaluation fees.

Other Postgraduate DIPLOMA Admissions and Examinations

Kannur University also manages admissions and examinations for other postgraduate diploma programs. For instance, the online registration for the First Semester Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology (PGDCP) Regular/Supplementary Examination, November 2025, commenced on January 30, 2026. The deadline for online registration without a fine was February 3, 2026, and with a fine of ₹210, it was February 5, 2026, at 5 p.m.

The last date for the university to receive applications, fee receipts, lists of eligible candidates, and statements of fees for PGDCP was February 7, 2026, at 5 p.m., with the tentative examination commencement date set for February 24, 2026. The application fee for the Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science and Analytics (PGDDS) program in 2022 was Rs 1000, with a reduced fee of Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates.
