Upcoming Deadlines and Course Offerings

The Skill Enhancement Course in Hospitality Management, exclusively for Mizoram University affiliated college students, has an admission deadline of 15 October 2026. This is a three-month course, with Mizoram University students receiving a 50% discount, reducing the fee to INR 1,500. The Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management at Mizoram University, established in 2019, also offers a two-year/four-semester full-time M.B.A. Tourism & Hospitality Management Programme (MBATH) and a full-time Ph.D. Programme in Tourism & Hospitality at its Tanhril, Aizawl campus. Mizoram University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and holds a NAAC A++ Grade accreditation, with a ranking among top institutions in India as per NIRF Rankings 2025.

ICFAI University’s BBA Hospitality & Tourism Program

ICFAI University, Mizoram, has concluded its admission process for the four-year BBA (Hospitality & Tourism) program, which is structured into eight semesters. Regular classes for this program commenced on 03 August 2026. Students are required to complete courses equivalent to 163 credits for a BBA (H&T) degree with Honours/Research. Eligibility for the program required passing Class XII with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks. The university also offers NJY Merit Scholarships based on academic record and semester-wise performance and reserves 5% of seats in every program for students with disabilities.

The admission fee for the BBA (Hospitality & Tourism) program was Rs. 5,000 and was non-refundable. A caution deposit of Rs. 5,000 was also required along with the first semester fee.

Vacant Seats in State Quota Programs

Several institutions have reported vacant applications for various undergraduate programs under the Mizoram State Quota. Eligible candidates for these programs were required to report by 24 August 2026. These vacancies include B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc.
