Admission Process and Expected Rank Requirements
Admission to BTech programmes at SRM University is based on the SRMJEEE rank, followed by an online counselling and seat allocation process. The university conducts multiple phases of the exam, allowing students to appear in any phase, with their best score being considered for admission. This approach aims to reduce exam pressure and provide multiple opportunities for candidates to improve their performance.
Based on previous trends, specific rank ranges are generally required for admission to various BTech programmes and campuses. For Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at the SRM KTR main campus, a rank below 10,000-15,000 is typically required. For CSE with specialisations like AI & ML, a rank below 8,000-10,000 is often needed. For the Ramapuram campus, a rank below 20,000-25,000 is generally expected, while for the NCR campus, a rank below 40,000-50,000 may be required.
