Candidates who have been provisionally allotted seats through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA 2026) and the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB 2026) Special Rounds are required to report in person at the institute’s Ichchhanath campus in Surat.

Important Note: Category certificates for OBC-NCL and EWS candidates must be issued on or after April 1, 2026, adhering strictly to the Government of India format available on the JoSAA/CSAB portal.

• Identity & Photo Proof: Valid Photo ID issued by Central/State Government (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID) and at least 6 to 8 recent passport-size colored photographs.

• Category & Medical Certificates:

  • Valid SC / ST / OBC-NCL / EWS / PwD Certificate (if applicable).

  • Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed JoSAA format, signed by a registered medical practitioner.

• Fee Payment & Portal Proofs: Printout of Student Registration Form generated from the SVNIT MIS online admission portal, along with proof of seat acceptance and partial admission fee payments.

Step-by-Step Physical Reporting Procedure

To ensure a smooth admission experience at the SVNIT Surat campus, students are advised to follow this step-by-step procedure:

1. Online Pre-Registration: Before visiting the campus, candidates must log on to the SVNIT MIS online reporting portal (mis.svnit.ac.in) to fill in personal details, register for academic records, and pay any remaining balance institute/hostel fees. Print the generated registration form.

2. Campus Arrival: Reach the Ichchhanath campus in Surat on your allotted slot date. It is recommended to arrive early during the morning session to avoid rush.

3. Desk Verification: Present your original documents and self-attested photocopies to the institute verification officers at the designated reporting hall.

4. Biometric & Photo Capture: Complete identity validation, including photograph capture and biometric registration for institute records.
