The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) announced that Ravneet Singh, an IIT Roorkee student has been declared the top performer from Uttarakhand in the GREEN Olympiad for Youth (GO4Youth) 2026. Ravneet scored a perfect 50/50 score in the olympiad. The TERI Green Olympiad for Youth is a online, MCQ-based interdisciplinary environment examination for students aged 18–30 in Higher Education Institutions across India.  It was conducted from June 1 to June 5, 2026 in online mode. Participants could choose their preferred date and time slot during the registration process. The examination consisted of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be completed in 60 minutes, with no negative marking.

Ravneet Singh earned State Recognition after securing a perfect score of 50/50 in the TERI GO4Youth Online Olympiad 2026. His exceptional performance placed him among the highest-scoring participants nationwide and earned him the distinction of being the Top Performer from Uttarakhand. The GREEN Olympiad for Youth (GO4Youth) is an online environmental awareness initiative by TERI for students aged 18–30 years enrolled in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). It aims to promote awareness of sustainable development, resource conservation, and environmentally responsible practices among young learners.

The programme is endorsed by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), and the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, and is aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
