TG CPGET 2026: M.Ed, M.P.Ed final phase web options open today, spot round vacancy details out

The Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET) 2026, conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), has opened web options for the M.Ed and M.P.Ed Final Phase counselling today, October 31, 2026. This phase will continue until November 2, 2026, with the editing window for web options also set for November 2, 2026.

Simultaneously, vacancy details for the CPGET Spot Round Admission were published yesterday, October 30, 2026, on the official website and college notice boards. These admissions support entry into various P.G. (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, etc.) and P.G. Diploma courses for the Academic year 2026-2027 across nine participating institutions in Telangana State.

CPGET 2026 M.Ed and M.P.Ed Final Phase Counselling

Candidates seeking admission to M.Ed and M.P.Ed courses through CPGET 2026 are currently in the final phase of counselling. Registration for this phase was open from October 28 to October 30, 2026. Following the web option exercise, the provisional allotment list for this phase is scheduled for display on November 5, 2026. Successful candidates will then be required to report to their respective colleges by November 9, 2026.

This marks the culmination of a counselling process that began with Phase 1 registrations from August 24 to September 2, 2026, and continued with Phase 2 registrations from September 22 to September 26, 2026. The final phase for other postgraduate courses concluded with reporting to colleges by October 27, 2026.

CPGET Spot Round Admissions 2026

For candidates who have not yet secured admission, the CPGET Spot Round Admissions are set to commence. College-wise vacancy details were made available on October 30, 2026, on the official website, cpgetadmissions.com, and on college notice boards. A formal notification regarding these spot admissions is expected to be published in newspapers on or before November 3, 2026.

The Spot Admissions themselves are scheduled to be conducted on or before November 7, 2026. Eligibility criteria for CPGET require general category candidates to have passed B.A., B.Sc., or an equivalent degree with at least 40% aggregate in Part 2. For SC/ST candidates, merely passing the qualifying subject is sufficient, without a minimum percentage requirement.

CPGET 2026 Examination and Counselling Timeline

The CPGET 2026 examination cycle began with registrations on May 15, 2026, and concluded with late fee submissions on June 19, 2026. The application correction window was open from June 16 to 19, 2026. Admit cards were released on July 5, 2026, leading up to the entrance tests conducted from July 8 to 16, 2026.

Response sheets and preliminary answer keys were released on July 18, 2026, with objections accepted until July 20, 2026. The results and rank cards were declared on August 5, 2026. The subsequent counselling phases, including online certificate verification and web option exercises, have progressed through September and October, culminating in the current M.Ed and M.P.Ed final phase and the upcoming spot admissions.
